If you have a huge appetite, we recommend "Do Eat Asian Cuisine." This restaurant is well known for its all-you-can-eat menu, which includes a respectable sushi and sashimi section. Patrons can enjoy classic rolls like a California Roll or an Alaskan Roll. Yet, the restaurant also features an exciting selection of unique signature rolls. One such example is the "Spicy Mama" roll, which features spicy flavors of yellowtail, salmon, jalapeno, and chili paste all topped with seared escolar. If that's too hot for you, the "Green and Peace" roll is a flavorful alternative. This roll utilizes the healthy flavors of cucumber, asparagus, sweet potato, mango, avocado, and eel sauce. As their name implies, "Do Eat Asian Cuisine" also offers Thai and Chinese dishes, making it a good spot if not everyone in your group loves sushi.

Lucky Bowl

If you prefer your sushi to be a topping on a delicious rice bowl, we recommend Lucky Bowl. This eatery is well known for its customizable bowls, which can include sushi-esque protein options. One such example is their namesake, "Lucky Bowl". This rice bowl is topped with cucumber, avocado, crab sticks, shrimp, tuna, and salmon. However, patrons choose to build their own customizable bowl. Try Thai Food

Try Thai Food offers a comprehensive menu that blends two distinct culinary traditions: Thai street food and Japanese sushi.

The Thai selections offer an array of traditional dishes, from rich curries to savory noodle dishes. Patrons can enjoy classics like Pad Thai or Kaeng Ped. The restaurant also offers unique signature dishes like the Gai Med Ma Muang, a sauteed chicken stir fry topped with cashews served on top of jasmine rice.

As for its sushi selection, "Try Thai Food" offers several classic rolls. Diners can enjoy a spicy tuna roll or the classic California roll. The restaurant also features some unique rolls, like the deep-fried crispy salmon roll. Whether you choose Thai or sushi, be sure to finish your meal with the restaurant's most popular dessert: mango sticky rice.

Kainan Filipino Restaurant

While technically not a sushi restaurant, we believe that Kainan Filipino Restaurant is worth your consideration for its uniqueness. Most major cities off the Pacific Coast don't offer Filipino cuisine, but fortunately for you, Kainan is located on the west side of Minot.

If you enjoy hearty meats, you're bound to enjoy Kainan's Filipino menu. Perhaps the most sought-after dish is the lechon kawali, a pork belly that is deep-fried in a pan or wok. The chicken adobo is also excellent with its bold flavors of vinegar and soy sauce. If you're in the mood for something lighter, we recommend the tortang talong, a flattened eggplant that is shallow fried in egg.
